Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday 2023
Dear Friends,
We are so happy to be open to the public at our consecrated Dharma Center at 4168 Herschel Street in Jacksonville, Florida. We are also continuing to live stream our weekly book study and meditation practice programs online that are accessible to anyone around the world interested in learning about Tibetan Buddhism and meditation. For the past 37 years, our mission has included offering free meditation classes to anyone who visits our Dharma Center. Throughout this year, we facilitated several retreats and programs to help us deepen our Dharma practice. In addition to our regular weekly schedule, this year we hosted Lama Karma Drodhul in March, Vajra Master Loppon Tobden and Khenpo Sangye in August, and Lama Losang in October. In 2024, we will continue to bring authentic Buddhist teachers to Jacksonville to lead a variety of programs.
We invite you this Giving Tuesday to support Karma Thegsum Choling Jacksonville. Donations are needed for our Dharma Center to operate. We ask you to help us continue to be a resource to the North Florida community by sharing the teaching of the Buddha for the benefit of all.

As this year ends, we have a lot to be grateful for. Karma Thegsum Choling is fulfilling its mission to be a resource for the North Florida community and because of fundraising and volunteers, we have a beautiful Center open to the public. Having a permanent Dharma Center comes with ongoing operating costs that includes a mortgage that we acquired to purchase the building. As has always been the case in our 37-year history, your generous support is crucial to the continued flourishing of KTC Jax. With your donation today, no matter how small, we will continue to offer these nourishing teachings to all who are interested. There are several ways you can support KTC Jacksonville’s mission this Giving Tuesday:
