Lama Losang the Spiritual Director of Karma Thegsum Choling Jacksonville will teach on this sacred chanting practice and the mantra that cultivates peace and brings benefit to ourselves and those around us. With our daily lives being so busy having the instruction for the Short Practice of Medicine Buddha makes it very accessible for those wanting to do the Medicine Buddha practice and not being able to find the time.

Lama Losang (David Bole) is a fully ordained monk (Gelong) in the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. He completed a three-year retreat under the guidance of renowned Kagyu master Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche. He received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. He continued his studies at the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in Oxford, England, where he completed two post graduate degrees. He has studied healing arts, meditation, martial arts, Tai Chi, acupuncture, herbal medicine and Chi Gong in the U.S., England, China, Tibet, India and Japan. He is a licensed acupuncturist in Florida and serves as the resident teacher for the Gainesville Karma Thegsum Choling Center in Gainesville, Florida.
