Tibetan Buddhist monks of the Drepung Loseling Monastery are creating a Medicine Buddha sand mandala at the Wilson Center at FCCJ South Campus, 11901 Beach Boulevard. Viewing times are January 18th - January 20th

Green Tara |
Our doors open the first Sunday of the monty at 9:00 am for silent sitting meditation. The practice of Green Tara begins at 9:30 am. This practice helps to clear obstacles to the development of compassionate mind, and to bring peace to our troubled world. |

First SaturdayRelease of Life Ceremony |
KTC Jacksonville will say prayers and release animals/insects that would otherwise be killed after our practice of Chenrezig the first Satuday of the month. Our purposer is to remove obstacles to His Holiness 17th Karmapa's coming to the US. If you wish to purchase small, environmentally friendly animals (earthworms, crickets, bait fish) to be freed, please bring your receipts if you would like to be reimbursed. A donor has provided KTC Jacksonville the funds to reimburse those who bring receipts. |

Meditation Instruction |
Michael Turnquist, director of KTC Jax, will provide meditation instruction on Saturday, February 10th, beginning at 9:00 am. This class is free of charge and open to the public. |
